Why is it so hard to admit we've been wrong?

In my opinion it's hard to admit that we've been wrong because of the reaction of other people to our mistake.

Let’s imagine we are really sure about something so sure we could swear on our life but it turns out that we we’re wrong. people start teasing us about how sure we were and that we weren’t right. even if most of the time they don’t mean it in a negative way A lot of us don’t like to be made fun of. the embarrassment that comes after someone proves we are wrong is so unbearable we rather still argued that were the one that is right and not someone else even if it’s pointless.

In conclusion I think it’s so hard to admit we’ve been wrong because of the embarrassment that comes with it.

  1. The paragraph has good structure even though it's not a classic argumentative paragraph as you use an emotional example rather than a set of arguments. But it's ok, it makes the reading more interesting!
